Follow-up & Referrals

A follow up online doctor telehealth appointment may be arranged, or if required a referral may be made to another practitioner. Private Medical’s Telehealth online doctor consultations are typically 15 minutes, and these can be extended for further 30-minute periods, if required.

Long Online Doctor Telehealth Consultation Cost

A long telehealth online consultation with a qualified doctor involves, as required, a view of your medical history and the presenting problem. This telehealth appointment fee also means we can include a longer discussion of symptoms and signs, advising on both diagnosis and management. We can order medical tests and investigations, prescribe medications, and facilitate referrals to other practitioners. Our telehealth doctors can also provide any relevant certificates and arrange follow ups.
