Online Prescription Service
Private Medical’s experienced online doctors can provide Online Prescriptions. This includes e-scripts, for new and repeat medications for individuals and families. Each online prescriptions is dispensed at your online doctor's discretion.
Video Consultation
Prescription issuance will depend on your current medical condition/s and whether you are on any existing medications. If you have any regular medications you are taking, we suggest you have them with you to show the online doctor during your telehealth video consultation.
Flexible Delivery Methods
If your online doctor provides a new or repeat prescription, you can choose your delivery method: either an Electronic prescription (SMS/Email) via eRx secure script, or a digital copy sent via fax and email to your local pharmacy.
Medicare & PBS
Electronic prescriptions are linked to Medicare; you'll need to submit your Medicare details. If you prefer not to, we can fax/email the script to your chemist, though this may affect PBS medication subsidies.
